On White Paper

It’s half past seven in the morning where I am and the weather is proving incorrigible once again, and the dismal state yesterday afternoon seems to have carried over ’til today. I’m not entirely complaining though, because nothing beats back-to-school blues (it’s Tuesday again tomorrow ohmy) than rain and chilly weathers! :-)

When I woke up to the pitter-patter of raindrops on our rooftop, I couldn’t help but smile and snuggle deeper under the covers. Oh the rain! You can’t deny that this is definitely one of those moments when nature is at its finest. You look out your window, out to your garden, and you see how the rain falls gently upon the leaves, trunks, stems, and roots of the undergrowth. You realize how warmly they welcome the rain and how the earth becomes this beautiful shade after the rain. Isn’t that just beautiful? Makes me extremely retrospective and nostalgic all of a sudden. This is the weather where we get lost in the memories and when we begin to wonder and dwell on the questions we’ve told ourselves to forget.

Let’s reminisce, shall we?
